The Stubby Cooler Company was established in 2000, and has been proudly serving Townsville and North Queensland, providing unique, personalised products for events and businesses.

As a family-owned and operated business the tradition of quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service has been engrained into the DNA of every product that comes through our doors. This personal service is now carried by a new local family committed to enhancing every occasion, from backyard BBQs, beach outings, cape trips, golf days, and corporate events.

Founded in 2000 by a local family, The Stubby Cooler Company quickly became known for its durable, high-quality neoprene coolers and promotional items. Over the years, we’ve expanded our range an evolved with our customers, offering custom solutions for corporate events, weddings, and community projects across North Queensland.

In 2024, The Stubby Cooler Company entered an exciting new chapter under the ownership of another local family, equally passionate about keeping our community strong. Our new owners are committed to preserving the company’s reputation for quality and are excited to bring fresh ideas, new products, and continued dedication to serving North Queensland.

What drives us

Our mission is simple: to create top-quality, customised neoprene products that exceed expectations while supporting our local community and to keep your drinks cold while helping you express your individuality. We believe that every gathering deserves a personal touch, and our custom coolers, accessories and apparel are the perfect way to add a bit of flair to your favourite beverages.

Community Involvement

Jason has been playing guitar since he can remember. Over the years Jason has written and recorded music with some local artists and local music studios. Jason is a regular around the Townsville music scene popping up at a venue near you with a few mates busting out the tunes you love. If you see us around come and say Hi!

We have an extended family in surrounding towns that play Lawn Bowls everywhere. We are regular attendees at these events, you might find us cheering them on (quietly) from the sidelines.

Our 2 Oldest Children are quite active in school extracurricular activities including Choir’s and Theatre events. Our youngest is a practicing for when he’s old enough by bellowing at the top of his lungs!
